Product introduction:The precipitated barium sulfate is white amorphous powder with a relative density of 4.50 (15 degrees) and a melting point of 1580 degrees. Because of its high refractive index (1.63~1.65), it shows a lighter color and has a certain hiding power. It is almost insoluble in water, ethanol and acid, and is soluble in hot sulfuric acid. It is easy to mix with Potassium Permanganate, calcium carbonate or metal nitrate. It can be reduced to barium sulfide with carbon at high temperature. It is an important basic chemical raw material. It is used as the raw material or filling agent for paint, paint, ink, plastic, rubber and battery; the surface coating agent of printed and copper sheet; the sizing agent used in the textile industry; and the clarifying agent in the glass products; it can play the role of defoaming and increasing luster.
